Home Donations

A charitable house donation allows you to enjoy the satisfaction that comes with philanthropic giving, a meaningful tax benefit, and freeing yourself from a financially hindering property, all while creating good in the community that houses children and saves tax-payer dollars.

How it Helps You /Your Business

  • Avoid potentially financially devastating properties (such as inherited property, an investment property that has not turned a profit, or a home that is complicating a move or new job opportunity).
  • Utilize a simple means of releasing properties that you are simply ready to move on from into retirement, or travel.
  • Relinquish an old, commercial operations building that no longer serves your needs.
  • Benefit from substantial tax credits that can reduce your personal or business taxes for years. Current Market Value Tax Deduction Real Estate.
  • Avert brokerage fees paid to real estate professionals.
  • Move out of a Tiny House into a different type of property for any reason, and do a lot of good for a family in need at the same time!

Take Matters into Your Own Hands

The Indigo Door Project is a group of volunteers who change lives for homeless and displaced single-parent families in the Oklahoma City Metro.

Your house donation helps house a family who has become homeless (living in a car, tent, etc.) displaced (house hopping, living in someone else’s home such as a family member or friend.), or under-housed (living in a home that is unsafe, dilapidated or detrimental to the child: moldy, hazardous).

Instead of waiting for someone else to take care of the problem, we and our volunteers get the job DONE! We revitalize the home, and either house a family or turn funds into programs like our mother and father mentorship program GUIDE, or events that raise money for scholarships, and more housing!

Fill out the form to the left to get started! Let’s put an END to child homelessness in the Oklahoma City Metro and beyond!
